Congratulations to Cheng Shuang for the successful inclusion of their original design work "Empty and Space, Light and Shadow" in the 2023 GFDA International Design Award!
This design flawlessly interprets the design philosophy of modern minimalist style without a main light source. Through an open spatial layout, versatile furniture arrangements, and distinct functional zoning, it achieves a harmonious unity of spatial practicality and openness. In terms of color scheme, it employs a coffee-colored base complemented by elegant neutral tones, creating a premium and sophisticated atmosphere. Furthermore, the addition of art pieces enhances the overall quality and sophistication of the space. The lighting solution primarily relies on concealed linear lights, magnetic track lights, and emphasizes rational supplementary lighting alongside natural light utilization, fostering a serene and relaxing living environment. In summary, this design work, characterized by its simplicity, practicality, and comfort, showcases the unique charm of modern minimalist style, and its inclusion in the GFDA International Design Award is truly well-deserved.
